Many individuals argue that the responsibility to reduce pollution lies primarily with governments and industries. Do you agree or disagree? Explain your reasoning with relevant examples.
MODEL ESSAY / ANSWER
It is often contended that the onus of mitigating pollution predominantly rests with the government and industrial sectors. While I agree that these entities play a crucial role, I firmly believe that every individual also has a significant part to play in this endeavour.
The government, with its power to legislate and enforce laws, is indeed in a unique position to combat pollution. For instance, they can introduce stringent regulations on industrial waste disposal, impose penalties on violations, and promote the use of renewable energy. Similarly, industries can contribute by adopting greener technologies, reducing their carbon footprint, and investing in sustainable practices. The recent shift of many automobile companies towards electric vehicles is a prime example of this.
However, the assumption that the responsibility lies solely with these entities is flawed. The role of individuals in pollution reduction is equally important. Every citizen contributes to pollution in their daily lives, whether through the use of plastic, excessive energy consumption, or improper waste disposal. Therefore, changes in individual behaviour can have a significant impact on the environment.
For example, if every person were to reduce their use of single-use plastic, recycle waste, and conserve energy, the cumulative effect would be substantial. Furthermore, individuals can influence government and industry actions through their voting and purchasing choices. By supporting environmentally friendly policies and products, they can encourage both sectors to prioritise sustainability.
In conclusion, while governments and industries have a significant role in reducing pollution, the responsibility should not be theirs alone. Every individual has a part to play in this collective effort. Only through the combined actions of all sectors of society can we hope to achieve a sustainable future.

View Detailed EvaluationNowadays, detrimental effect of pollution is increasing world widely, this is due to usage of fuel contained vechicles. However many people think that government and industries should be reponsible for causing pollution, I completely disagree with the notion because protecting environment from pollution is every induviduals duty.
To begin with, critics argue that government and corporation companies are reponsible for pollution because some people believe that two thirds of pollution are caused by industries, so regims should take action against those industries by implementing laws. Also, Industries must consider about the environmental situation by reducing their pollution producing products. For example, a report says that, Indian goverments are not taking action towards pollution producing companies because they are unaware of global warming and careless about public life.
I certainly believe that protecting our planet from pollution is responsible for every induviduals, because we need to protect our future generation from polluted world. This is done by implementing rules and regulations to public society such as use bicycle for shopping thus it lower the air pollution, reducing plastic products to improve soil health and less usage of petroleum vechicles instead of that electric vechicles are recommended. For instance, a survey says that most of the peoples' in United States are turned to use electric vechicles to reduce the pollution thus it attracts other countries to follow.
In conclusion, although governments and companies are responsible to reduce pollution, I believe that everyone in the world has the duty to protect our earth from pollution by considering about the environment.
