MODEL ESSAY / ANSWER

In the contemporary era, the globalization of fashion has become a prominent trend, with individuals across various cultures adopting international styles. This phenomenon has its merits, such as fostering a sense of global unity and providing economic benefits, but it also poses significant drawbacks, including the erosion of cultural identity and the potential for cultural homogenization. One of the primary advantages of embracing international fashion trends is the promotion of a global identity. By wearing similar styles, people from different backgrounds can feel a sense of belonging to a larger, global community, thereby reducing cultural barriers and enhancing mutual understanding. Furthermore, the global fashion industry contributes significantly to economic growth, offering employment opportunities and stimulating economic development in countries involved in the production and distribution of fashion goods. However, the widespread adoption of international fashion trends comes with notable disadvantages. Most prominently, it threatens the preservation of traditional clothing, which is an integral part of a nation's cultural heritage and identity. As people increasingly turn away from their traditional attire in favor of modern, global trends, unique cultural expressions risk being lost. Additionally, this shift towards uniformity in fashion can lead to cultural homogenization, where the distinctive characteristics of different cultures become less pronounced, diminishing global diversity. In conclusion, while the global adoption of international fashion trends has its benefits, such as fostering global unity and economic growth, it also poses significant risks to cultural diversity and identity. It is crucial for societies to find a balance, promoting global fashion trends while also preserving and valuing traditional clothing styles.

Nowadays, most of the people in the world are widely choosing to wear fashionable dresses and moving towards the current trends of the model dresses. However, this may foster the global unity, it might lead to cultural losses. This essay will explore the pros and cons of this trend and then I will try to draw some conclusion. I will start by looking at the benefits, one of the major plus point is that wearing fashionable dresses should promote the gender equality among the society and it also helps us to exchange our cultural styles across the globe with others. Additionally, in this modern world people choose to be a trendy person because individuals are judged by their appearance rather than character this will force people to wear a fashionable clothes. For instance, in USA both men and women has right to wear their desirable outfits like t-shirt, hoodies and jeans whenever they go out for the parties, clubs and occasions. As a result, now it become common trend to wear T-shirts in public by both men and women. On the contrary, it may have global unity but sometimes it leads to traditional loss of clothing styles. Firstly, modern outfits are expensive however, some people like to afford it by any cost. Secondly, this trend has the ability to destroy the old fashionable looks which are protected by our ancestors from ancient days also it will affect the cultural heritage in some communities. For example, in India women's traditional dresses like saree and kurtas are fading when they are famous and crucial styles among people in societies and now it become rare to see a traditional clothes in these nations. In conclusion, there are both benefits and drawbacks to this way of wearing fashionable outfits, I believe that people not only try to protect their cultural styles in order to promote sense of dressing but also they need to cope with current trends to acknowledge their identity from others.
